When trekking in Nepal, youโll stay in basic yet clean lodges and teahouses along the route. Rooms usually have two single beds with foam mattresses and cushions, while bathrooms may be attached or shared. Each lodge provides blankets, though many trekkers prefer to bring their own sleeping bags for extra comfort.
For larger groups, we reserve beds in advance. Where phone lines are available, this process is simple; otherwise, your guideโs assistant will ensure reservations are made ahead of time, so you can focus on enjoying the trek.
All meals are included during your trekking adventure. This typically consists of:
Breakfast: Cereal, porridge, toast, and eggs.
Lunch and Dinner: Rice or noodle dishes, soups, seasoned vegetables, and a three-course dinner with tea or coffee.
Snacks and Drinks: Seasonal fruits, biscuits, chocolate bars, soft drinks, beer, and whisky are available at many lodges.
While the menu may be limited and similar across lodges, all meals are delicious, hygienic, and filling. We encourage you to eat responsibly to avoid wastage, as many local communities have limited food resources.
