Long will drive you away from Kathmandu to Soti Khola, at an altitude of 530 m, after you cross the thin trail through the rustic village and the terraced fields of the Budhi Gandaki. The trail will go off at the back of Budi Gandaki, passing complicated land, and the plentiful waterway at the core of the village.
After spending the night in Soti Khola, you will go to Machha Khola (890 m) the next day. You will come across several stars and fall. The walk will next take you south, along the banks of the river, to the settlement of Machhakhola, where you will be able to see the Ganesh Himal.

Pass through a beautiful gorge and enter a relatively unknown area of pine woods before falling to a trail connected with New Bridge. by following the path to the left and then into its narrow gorge on the changing trail across the river. After crossing a suspension bridge, entering a bamboo forest, and ascending to Deng’s village.
From Deng, travelers weave in and out of gorges while passing by several Tibetan mani walls (intricately hand-carved stone walls with Buddhist teachings). Before reaching Namrung, enter a colorful forest of firs, oaks, and rhododendrons.
Continuing from Namrung, the trip ascends steeply into the alpine, where you’ll catch your first view of Manaslu North and Manaslu itself. A lovely trek gets us to Samdo, a charming community famed for its yak herding.
Continuing on from Samdo, take a wide, broad route that crosses the Bhuri Gandaki River and goes over a mani wall. Climb the Larkya Glacier until you reach a hilltop with panoramic views of a massive canyon. We’ll stay here for the night before heading up to the Larkya La the next morning.

Begin your descent by following a route down a steep gully. The route eventually ends in a relatively flat region of the grassy moraine. As you continue your descent to Bimthang, the valley opens out.
Cross a glacier river and ascend along the moraine before dropping into a beautiful grove of rhododendrons and huge pines, with a view of Manaslu. Descend towards the Dudh (milk) Khola, then continue through a more agricultural environment till you reach Goa, Tilje, and finally Dharapani.
After our breakfast, we will catch a local jeep or bus, get a bus to Beshisahar, connect to the local Hiace van, and drive to Kathmandu. This will be a long day’s drive. Consider staying an extra night in Besi Sahar to allow you to travel to Kathmandu in comfort. Transfer to a hotel in Kathmandu.
