PEAK CLIMBING EQUIPMENT

The climbing equipment for peaks ranging from 6,000 meters to 7,000 meters is almost the same in quality and specifications. Most essential gear, such as mountaineering boots, insulated clothing, harnesses, crampons, ice axes, helmets, and down suits, remains consistent for both altitude ranges. However, for peaks closer to 7,000 meters, climbers may require additional high-altitude gear like a warmer sleeping bag, extra oxygen (if necessary), and stronger gloves or mittens to handle harsher conditions.
