Broad Peak (8,051 m / 26,414 ft) is the 12th highest mountain in the world, located in the Karakoram range along the Pakistan-China border, just a few kilometres from K2. It is part of the Gasherbrum massif and is situated in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.

The name Broad Peak comes from its immense summit ridge, which stretches for nearly 1.5 kilometres. British explorer W.M. Conway translated its local name into English, which perfectly describes the broad, horizontal summit plateau.

Broad Peak (8,051m / 26,414 ft) is possible to climb without supplemental oxygen, and it has been done by many experienced high-altitude climbers. It is considered one of the more “feasible” 8,000-meter peaks to attempt without oxygen, especially for those with prior acclimatization experience and strong physical conditioning.

5. Summit 8051m  Long ridge, some exposure, requires stamina and caution
