Climbing peaks between 7,501 meters and 8000 meters in Nepal requires strict compliance with government regulations. While the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has issued permits for peaks below 6,500 meters since 1978, all permits for higher peaks must be obtained through the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.
All mountaineering permits in Nepal must be processed through a registered travel or trekking company. Individual applications are not allowed. Before any expedition:
1: Climbers must complete a bio-data form and submit it to Adventure Fourteen Summit Pvt. Ltd. in Kathmandu.
2: The expedition leader is responsible for collecting the climbing permit and presenting it at every checkpoint.
3: Permit fees are non-refundable, regardless of expedition outcome.
Permit fees for peaks within this altitude range vary depending on the specific peak and the number of climbers in the expedition. Adventure Fourteen Summit ensures transparent and complete management of all fees, including permit and liaison officer costs, so climbers can focus on their summit experience without administrative concerns.

For peaks above 6,500 meters, the Nepal government requires a liaison officer to be assigned to each expedition. Typically, a section officer, the liaison officer ensures legal and safe operations.
1. Government Representative: Serves as the official link between the expedition team and the government.
2. Monitoring & Reporting: Ensures compliance with environmental and mountaineering regulations.
3. Permit Compliance: Confirms the expedition adheres to approved permit conditions.
4 Emergency Assistance: Coordinates with authorities in case of rescue or emergency situations.
While liaison officers may not always accompany teams to base camps, their presence is officially mandatory. Expedition teams are responsible for covering all related expenses, including salary, travel, food, and accommodation.
To streamline the climbing permit process, Adventure Fourteen Summit requires climbers to submit the following:
1: Passport Copy: Clear, colored copy of your passport.
2: Photographs: Recent passport-sized photographs.
3: Personal Bio-data: Professional and personal information about the climber.
4: Medical Certificates: Comprehensive medical evaluation confirming fitness for high-altitude climbing.
5: Insurance Proof: Proof of high-altitude insurance coverage (can be submitted later).
